The scrapbook includes: a letter from Park G. Lantz, Superintendent of the Training School at Central State Teachers College, later Central Michigan University (CMU), to Pres. E.C. Warriner, Jan. 14, 1930, listing the steps of a plan to buy the property needed for a new athletic park and the cost and requirements of such a park for 31,000 dollars on 22 acres of property bordered by Mission, Preston, Franklin, and Bellows streets in Mount Pleasant (Mich.); the By-Laws of the Corporation, with Meeting Minutes, June 28, 1930-Oct. 18, 1938 (scattered, the last minutes mention later events of Juy 10, 1942); Certificates of incorporation from the State of Mich., Dept. of State, May 5, 1930 and May 21, 1931; a Notice from the members of the Corporation's board informing Prof. George DePuy that he will fill Prof. Tambling's position on the board, Oct. 27, 1937; and Correspondence from Joe P. Carey re: Mr. Ron W. Finch checking on the deed to the Althletic Field and finding out about the Corporation, April 12, 1957, and an attached undated cover note from Joe to Ron; Correspondence from Ron W. Finch to Pres. Anspach, May 9, 1957, explaining how CMU professors and alumni, who when students paid 3 dollars/term to pay off the loans needed to buy and build the field, are against buildings being built on the property; and Correspondence from Pres. Anspach to J.P. Carey re: their previous letter and the probability that the field will be moved elsewhere, so the unhappy alumni will hopefully be appeased.

Maybee was a history professor at CMU. The Clarke Historical Library has several of his publications and his papers. The Advisory Committee developed plans for major events, publications, re-dedications of campus buildings, presentations, and a historical marker for CMU's 75th Anniversary.
